Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, surrounded by land designated as a conservation area, it enjoys far reaching views over the Common to the front and over rural farmland to the rear. There are beautiful beech woods (with carpets of bluebells in the spring). Red Kites have been successfully re-introduced in The Chilterns and can be seen flying overhead quite often.

Conveniently located just 30 miles north west of London and in close proximity to the M4, M40 and Heathrow Airport, we are easy to find. Our B&B is just 4 miles between Princes Risborough and High Wycombe both connected to a fast and efficient train service out of London's Marylebone station.

We are also well situated for Oxford and Windsor. The riverside town of Marlow, with its boutique shops and excellent restaurants is just 5 miles away, while the picturesque villages of Turville, Hambleden and elegant Henley-on-Thames are also close at hand.

Places of interest in the locality include Hughenden Manor (home of Benjamin Disraeli), Dashwood Manor and West Wycombe with the Golden Ball and Hellfire Caves.

We have a thriving theatre (The Swan) in High Wycombe with a great variety of entertainment (including pre-London Productions) and a multiplex cinema. For the more energetic there are swimming pools in High Wycombe, Princes Risborough and Marlow. There are also riding schools in Lane End and Naphill and a Polo field where training and play take place all spring and summer. Mountain bikes are available on request.
